What is an SPV?
A special purpose vehicle (SPV) is a separate legal entity set up to hold specific assets, such as a fund company that owns T-bills on behalf of token holders. Tokenized funds are often SPVs or fund companies in places like the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, or Delaware.
What we show
We show whether the entity, its jurisdiction, its legal entity identifier (LEI) and its filings are public. We don't yet judge whether the SPV is bankruptcy-remote, meaning protected if the sponsor fails. That is the Legal Claim category, which is not assessed yet; it also decides Stage 1 (Protected).
